An unfinished piece of a character I'm considering for a book project titled "The Resurrectionists" dealing with the history of early modern medicine and the men who dissected bodies in order to learn how humans ticked, and hopefully cure disease. It was a very morally ambiguous time in Georgian London and Edinburgh. Body snatching was common and murder to supply anatomy schools was by no means unheard of. Few anatomists asked questions of their suppliers, as the only legal source of bodies was a meagre trickle of hanged criminals. Snow is one of them.
